Tina Haydu Photography | Who I Am

Who I Am

I am a portrait photographer in the Greater Johnstown Area. I love photographing everything from high school seniors, newborns, families & children, weddings to fine art! Although I believe that natural surroundings and nature’s beautiful light makes for one striking work of art, I was pleased to announce the grand opening of my studio in November 2016. My studio is a dream come true to be able to do professional head shots, newborns, holiday portraits and cold weather children's portraiture!

In 2017 I broke ground on my new outdoor studio, also known as The Enchanted Forest, to give my clients so many more options for their portrait needs!

Also in 2017 is the addition of composite photography which can be added into any session. Composite photography is created using Adobe Photoshop and other tools, combining several photos to create scenes like you have never before seen! It can be as little as adding a unicorn, changing a dull sky or creating a fantasy scene for a newborn portrait that is safe for your baby.

I started my journey professionally in 1997 apprenticing, studying and working for a local studio while attending classes through the PPA (Professional Photographers of America) and The Triangle Institute of Professional Photography. I am a self taught graphic artist and use Adobe programs for most of my retouching and editing artistry. I continue my education constantly through workshops and online seminars and classes.

Although I have won numerous awards for my photography, I am most proud of my volunteer work with the PA State Police Cambria County Camp Cadet Program where I document the journey of the camp participants each summer.

I am fascinated with capturing the beauty in all things and letting the story unfold before me. I have a zest for life; a love for family, friendship and my faith; an eagerness for adventure (kayaking anyone?); and yes, a true passion for photography! I have worked in the service industry all my life and appreciate that individual connection. I would love to capture your story through my lens.

“Everyone has an eye for the beauty that surrounds them;

How we capture it sets us apart.”
