Who I Am

I am a portrait photographer in the Greater Johnstown Area. I specialize in photographing high school seniors, families, couples, and fine art.

In 2017 I broke ground on my new outdoor studio, also known as The Enchanted Forest, to give my clients many more options for their portrait needs. Till this day I am always adding new features!

I started my journey professionally in 1998 apprenticing, studying and working for a local studio while attending classes through the PPA (Professional Photographers of America) and The Triangle Institute of Professional Photography. I am a self taught graphic artist and use Adobe programs for most of my retouching and editing artistry. I continue my education constantly through workshops, conferences and online seminars.

I look forward yearly to my volunteer work with the PA State Police Cambria and Somerset Counties Camp Cadet Programs where I document the journey of the camp participants each summer.

I am a proud member of the Professional Photographers of America and The Professional Photographers Association of PA where I have won numerous awards for my photography and am internationally published. I am happy to announce that in September 2022 I completed the criteria for my Master Photographer Degree through the PPA. January 23, 2023 I walked the stage in Nashville, TN at Imaging USA where I was officially awarded my Master of Photography Degree.

I am fascinated with capturing the beauty in all things and letting the story unfold before me. I have a zest for life; a love for my faith, family, and friendship; an eagerness for adventure (kayaking anyone?); and yes, a true passion for photography! I have worked in the service industry all my life and appreciate that individual connection.

I would love to capture your story through my lens.
